Banana Bread Oatmeal

A bananalicious mash-up of flavors and comfort!

Sabina could never get herself to enjoy oatmeal until she made it fun and filling. Each of these ingredients has a purpose to make this breakfast/post-workout meal yummy yet satiating.

Rolled Oats: They’re a whole-grain food! They’re a great source of carbs and fiber keeping you fuller longer with a little boost of protein.

Protein powder: whichever brand you use is up to you! I look for quality ingredients along with the taste to boost my protein intake for the day

Darigold Milk: You can totally use any whole milk, I just chose Darigold FIT because it gives me an extra boost of protein. I like to use whole milk because of its nutritional value! Whole milk is high in protein and has carbs and healthy fats which can help with energy and keep you satiated for longer.

Banana: it’s yummy, and it’s great for digestion!

Walnuts: not only do they have healthy fats but they also contain essential phytochemicals that potentially benefit the brain.
