Dairy Farmers of Washington is committed to supporting current and former county and state dairy ambassadors who served county or statewide in Washington.
The Dairy Ambassador Scholarship recipient will be a leader amidst their peers and committed to strengthening the Washington dairy community and will receive $5,000. One runner-up will receive $2,500.
Applications may be submitted from August 1, 2021 through September 15, 2021 (*Extended until 9/24/21*). Please contact Kaysha Keel ([email protected]) for any questions.
The applicant must be a former or current county or state Dairy Ambassador in Washington state enrolled in a four-year university, two-year college and/or trade school for the 2021-2022 academic year with any major. Applicants do not need to be enrolled in a school in Washington state to be eligible. In the future, past recipients of this scholarship will not be eligible to win a second time.
All applications will be evaluated by a committee designated by Dairy Farmers of Washington and the Washington State Dairy Women based on answers to essay questions and other short-answer questions included in the application.

Please add “Dairy Ambassador Scholarship” to the subject line. All components of the application must be completed for consideration, including letters of recommendation.
Scholarship awards can be used to pay tuition and fees for enrollment or attendance at an educational institution to include colleges, universities, or vocational schools. Scholarships must be used within the following year of being awarded.
