This budget-friendly recipe is a super simple snack, whether you’re a participant in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program or just on the hunt for a low-cost, protein boost to keep you going! 💪  


3-Ingredient Protein Bites

Yield: 8 protein bites | Prep Time: 5 min 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup peanut butter*
  • 1 cup powdered milk*
  • 1/2 cup breakfast cereal* (Chex works well)

*WIC-approved ingredients

Directions:
  1. Add powdered milk and peanut butter. Stir until combined.
  2. Add breakfast cereal and mix, breaking into pieces. Optional: chill for a couple of hours.
  3. Scoop about a tablespoon’s worth of mixture and roll into balls.
  4. Enjoy! Store leftovers in the fridge.
