4-H and FFA WA Dairy Community Scholarship

Hey Juniors & Seniors!

This year the Dairy Farmers of Washington are offering two scholarships through the Dairy Community Scholarship program. These scholarships are available for 4-H or FFA members involved with dairy cattle in Washington State. These scholarships recognize two candidates from each grade level (junior and senior) who exhibit excellence in academics, leadership, and passion for the dairy community and community service.

The Dairy Community Scholarship offers a $1,000, and $750 scholarship for juniors and a $1,000 and $750 scholarship for seniors.

The scholarship is available for attendance at a regionally accredited school including colleges, universities, community colleges or vocational technical schools. The scholarship will be directly mailed to the school of choice and is available for tuition only. Seniors must begin to draw on the scholarship by December 1, 2018 and have 12 months to use entire scholarship amount (December 1, 2019). If you do not draw from the scholarship by December 1, 2018 the scholarship fund will no longer be available. Juniors must begin to draw on the scholarship by December 1, 2019 and have 12 months to use the entire scholarship amount (December 1, 2020).
